Unlike the other fanmade trailers, this one contains the full package including live action scenes and cinematics. This is, by far, the best it can get. Take this as a reminder, that it’s coming.

Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africas District 9 as the worlds nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United, a private company uninterested in the aliens welfare they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe, contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9.

Every time I try and import a movie file into Windows Movie Maker, it wants to break it up into multiple movie clips (sometimes hundreds!). It invariablly causes some kind of instability and the program closes.
Surely there’s a way to stop it from breaking it up like this?
better instead of importing the video clip , try click and drag the file to the collections
I recently bought 6 new movie posters.. 4 that are about 3 feet by 4.5 feet.. and 2 that are about 4 feet by 7 feet.. is there any place online or commercial stores that sell poster frames for a cheap price?
Definitely Hobby Lobby when they are having their 50% sale. Better than Wal-mart or Target prices during their sale.
I have to make a movie trailer and i was wondering if anyone knew any good songs from a movie trailer.
Thanks!
depends what movie its on
Hers my story. I am an aspiring film editor. Film editing has long been my passion. I am planning to attend USC, UCLA, or NYU for grad school to get my masters degree. If I decide to become a professor of film instead of film editing, would a masters degree from one of these schools (three of the top film schools in the world) get me a career as a professor of film at a university?
Sorry to teach at
high school – bachelors
community college – masters
Universities – a doctrine degree.
Hi, i was just wondering for a essay how have specific scenes in the movie Shakespear in love compared to the play Romeo and juliet created new meanings in modern audiences. i mean the general plot is the same but some of the scenes have been changed to suit modern audiences, which are scenes are these and how is it done.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.
you need to realise that ‘Shakespeare’ is taking dialouge from all around him – what people say – and using it in the play. take a look at the balcony scene for example. or the scene in viola’s bed – ‘it was the lark’… often, the masculine and feminine roles are reversed. there are also some comic moments slotted into the story which only a modern audience would appreciate – the ‘cabbie’ styled boat-rower, Shakespeare’s ‘psychiatrist’ or the Stratford-upon-Avon mug that Shakespeare has in his rooms.
