One of Nickelodeon’s biggest shows, with an appeal over an incredibly large cross-section of viewers, was Avatar: The Last Airbender. When you couple a big-name kids’ show with great storytelling and a huge following with the rolling slow-motion train wreck that is M. Night Shyamalan, you get The Last Airbender, coming to theatres July 2010.
The Last Airbender will send us out with Aang, the last of the Airbender race and heir to the great legacy of Avatars, masters of all four elements. Aang ventures forth along with some familiar friends to defeat the grasping Fire Nation, masters of the fire element who have conquered most of the planet. Check out the trailer.

Hola amigos!!!! I’m Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV-practicing my spanish skills a bit in preparation for Taylor Lautner’s newest role. Those details are next.
It looks like Taylor Lautner is going to be putting his wolf suit aside for a bit to star in a new flick called “Cancun.” The action packed thriller will give Taylor the opportunity to show off his killer martial arts skills. Variety magazine is calling it a “teenaged ‘Taken’ meets ‘Die Hard.’” Tay will play a college student whose Cancun spring break takes a turn for the worst when he has to rescue his kidnapped friends from a drug cartel. And we’re guessing that the whole rescue situation will prove yet another opportunity to see Lautner show off his ripped physique.
Cancun is going to be released by the same studio as the Twilight series, Summit Entertainment, but Taylor is flexing some of his own business savvy with this one. It will also be produced under he and his dad’s new company “Tailer Made Entertainment.” Shooting is set to commence in June of 2010-which hopefully won’t conflict with a potential start date for “Breaking Dawn….” although-no guys-still nothing to confirm on that front either.

Sorry you cant. They are protected(copyright). You might want to give up on it as there is not way to rip AND convert a clip illegally. You can download the videos from the jackass main website http://www.jackass.com and download.

I’m wondering because I want to be a film director. I mean, say you have no history such as films you’ve made and all you have is that you studied Film at college and university – how do you get hired and found out to begin with? Through your own amateur movies you make and put on Youtube, submit to the film festivals etc?
And I guess it’s to do with you saying you’re up for making a film based on a particular screenplay, so how do you notify a screenwriter you’re interested in their script, and how do you find screenplays?
I guess there are several possible avenues. The first would be to build a reputation by directing an independent/self financed movie. Christopher Nolan (director of The Dark Knight and Batman Begins) made one called Following. I believe M. Night Shymalan (?sp) also got his start this way.
A second way would be to have the rights to a script and go out and find the financing. Unless you have some connections to begin with, this may prove difficult. The money people may like the script, but insist on an established director if they are going to put their money up. In this case, you might be able to get somewhere by insisting you are hires as an assistant director.
There are some in Hollywood who specifically look for up and coming talent to make small movies. I believe Ben Affleck and Matt Damon do some of this, as does Stephen Spielberg. But again, you’ll need something to get your foot in the door.
The last scenario is to actually know someone who produces pictures that you can convince to give you a shot.

i have a sanyo digital camera and can take either photos or mini movie clips on it, i have no problems with the photos but cant seem to put the movie clips onto a disc, is there any way of doing it? windows media player wouldnt play them so i downloaded quick time player and can watch them on my laptop, i just wanted to put them on a disc to play in a dvd player, is there any way of doing this?

If you have Windows XP, it has a program called Windows Movie Maker. You just plug your camera into computer and d/load the clip and then can edit and transfer it to disc. It will be in a .mpg format, so use a cd disc.
