I really loved and enjoyed the movie Ramona and Beezus! I would LOVE to own a movie poster for the film! One of the large ones not something I could print out of my home-printer! How do I get one?? Thanks!

I know what the border dimensions of a movie poster are but does anyone know what the other dimensions are?as far as spacing of text and the production info at the bottom/font?
There aren’t any official specifications for font size, font, or letter spacing, etc. It’s really up to the designer in cooperation with the powers-that-be from the film/studio. Depending on who you work for, there may be a style guide that specifies that your company uses a specific typeface, a specific point size, etc. You might be required to provide certain information in a certain way (who gets credit first, producers or director? how many actors will be listed? etc…)
In general, the text at the bottom of film posters tends to be in an ultra-condensed typeface, which helps you fit more information into a relatively small area. It also tends to be in a light weight (the stroke of the letters themselves are thin) and in a low-contrast color to avoid drawing too much attention to itself.
In poster design, you want to think about 3 levels of view: 1) far away (it needs to convey its message to a person standing pretty far away); 2) close-up (obviously, it should still be attractive and have good typography for someone standing 2 feet away to read); and 3) medium (from about 15 feet away, I should be able to see the text at the bottom, and maybe make out a few recognizable names ("Director" or "Meryl Streep" etc.). So aim for that when you’re setting type.

My boyfriend really liked the movie Juno and I want to get him a movie poster for his birthday, however I can’t find the one that I want.
It’s the Japanese version where she’s talking on her hamburger phone.
Now, if I was able to find it for sale, I would gladly buy it, however I just can’t!
But I can find pictures of it online.
So I was wondering if it was against copyright laws or whatever to upload the picture to a picture printing site and make one that way?
Yes, it’s illegal, and it’s likely that most picture printing places would refuse to print it. No harm in trying though–the worst they can say is "no".
I have a 5 foot tall 3 foot wide original Toy Story 1 movie poster in great condition, how much would it be worth? I know it shouldn’t be much, but i was just wondering i have had it since the movie came out and i was just curious because i am not looking to sell it or nothing, but i thought in a few more decades it might be worth something.
Yeah put it on ebay for what it is worth to you and see where the market takes the price. Use a 7 day auction
I’m in metric now and I live in South Africa. Next year I’m going to a college and do a course for 2 years for Graphic Print Production and I’m going to write the international exam. After that I want to go to America and find a job for a Movie Poster designer. Are there regularly requests for such a job and how much more or less do they get paid?
hunting for a job is tough, especially if it’s a long time since you last did it! I was jobless during the last couple of weeks, but I found the website in the box below which is extremely helpful in lots of ways. By taking their advice, in a couple of weeks I soon got myself a job.

I live in New York and am looking to spend 5-10$ to have it done. The poster is worth around 500 dollars and i do not feel safe bringing the original to my current location. Any thoughts on how it can be done and retain the beauty of the original?
You can not reprint a poster that is protected by copyright. Forget it. No reputable business person will do it for you. Even if they would it will cost much more than $5-$10 to scan and print just one.
