How do I unload film from a kodak colorsnap 35 model 2?

I recently bought a colorsnap 35 model 2 from ebay but when it arrived there was a roll off film in and I can’t get it out! I have brought the rewind knob out from the recess but the film is stil jammed in, am I doing something wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.

Is all the film rolled back into the cansiter? If not, do this first.

If so, try removing the canister at an angle.

    I researched your camera, and the only manual I found was for sale from a British site. I did find one on Flickr for the model 1 though, and it might be similar enough.
