why can’t I get movie clips or other videos to play on my computer?

When I go to play a movie trailer or other clips on my computer, all I get is the black screen. Last night I down loaded the lates version of adobe media player, but that only worked for a few, now once again they won’t play. I have checked to make sure that the pop up blocker wasn’t blocking the clips. What could be wrong?

Depends a lot on what browser and/or media player you’re using. I use an Apple MacBook with the Safari browser, primarily. However, Safari does not play all media. I also use the Firefox and Opera browsers. I find that Firefox plays most media that Safari can’t. You might want to download Firefox and try it in place of whatever browser you’re currently using. I’m not familiar with Adobe Media Player? You also didn’t identify what type of computer or operating system you’re using?
