The worst are the ones where two people are supposed to be lovers, but on the poster/cover, the bigger star is looking at the camera (i.e. making eye contact with YOU) while their less-famous co-star is looking at the bigger star. Example: While You Were Sleeping. It’s such contrived BS — they’re trying to get you to emotionally connect with the bigger star, so they have them look at you to try to make that connection. you, Hollywood!
