is there a difference between a movie poster and a teaser poster?
Posted under movie posterI have to design a movie poster but want to be sure of what a teaser and what’s an official poster.I’d like some images of say the same movie showing the teaser and the actual movie poster(so I can see the diff). Or you can just write it out for me

A teaser poster usually comes out quite early and gives away very little about the film. They usually don’t even show the actors and in some cases (usually if it is a well know franchise like James Bond) they don’t even show the full title of the movie.
The point of a teaser is to generate interest and curiosity, rather than to really give any idea of what the movie is actually about.
