Thosands of Iranians have gathered in the main plaza in the city of Tehran. In a short time it appears the numbers have swelled in the tens of thosands, as yet another demonstration is about to take place.

It’s nightfall and the streets of Tehran are eeriely silent. Earlier, Riot Police were out in full-force with water cannons dispersing the crowd of fecal throwing demonstrators. One demonstrator that I spoke with succinctly put it as, “different day, same shit.” Rally organizers were outraged at being targeted and feel that todays events may have put a squeeze on their Charmin Toilet Paper Anti-Smear Campaign.
